Today, 17th December 2019, George’s son, Paul, and colleagues gathered to plant a tree in his memory.

The beautiful commemorative oak tree was planted in Bermondsey Wood on the Estate, a wood that George had planted several years previously. Here, his family, will be able to visit and reflect on George’s hard work for the Estate in the forestry department.
