During planting season (Nov-March) we planted 750 new trees in a variety of species in various locations. We have created a new small plantation of 350 trees (pine, silver birch and hornbeam), and planted another 400 trees in other various locations, including the parkland and existing woodlands.

We have planted in excess of 7,325 new hedging plants of different species in various locations, by way of a positive attempt to rejuvenate existing hedgerows, as well as creating new ones.

New hedge rows are planted by way of a 80/20 mix to encourage wildlife. 80% hawthorn with the remaining 20% made up of field maple, dog wood, hazel, midland hawthorn, spindle, wild privet, blackthorn, purging buckthorn.
