We were delighted to introduce members of the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP, Growth Hub, to a very small but diverse selection of businesses based at Alscot, to understand the scale of our operation now and the potential for expansion in future. The group visited; Yelo, a £70million investment to create a new oil seed rape processing plant, that crushes only British grown rape seed to produce oil sold to the food industry. Monsoon Estates Coffee Co, a multi award winning artisan coffee roastery, who import, roast, grind and blend beans from all over the world. Unity Technologies, an international software and app company, who employ in excess of 50 members of staff at their recently expanded Alscot site. Jane Scrivner Skin Care, a leading and award winning name in the luxury skin care market with organic products curated by herself. Jim Clark and Chris Lawes of The Growth Hub, spoke to the business owners and managers individually to understand their progress, discuss any difficulties and obstacles that they might face and to facilitate connections that can potentially assist their company development.
